Green River College radio station KGRG is tackling prep football this season at storied French Field.

The broadcast team has been and will continue to bring live action to listeners throughout the season. The team plans to broadcast every game at the Kent gridiron this fall, providing play-by-play, analysis and interviews with players.

Nick Creasia handles play-by-play duty. Johnny Jackson and Calvin Domingo run social media and work as board operators. Ashley Ackerman is the crew’s main board operator.

To listen locally, tune in to 89.9 FM, and fans can listen anywhere through the KGRG app.

The broadcast team also wants to encourage students to learn more about the KGRG program at Green River. Students as young as 16 can sign up for classes through Running Start. Radio classes potentially count toward required fields.
