Hayden Byorick and Connor Kilcup each drove in a pair of runs to help power Auburn Mountainview to an 8-3 nonleague victory over West Seattle at Safeco Field on Saturday.
Shane Buchanan, the starter, went two innings to pocket the win for the Lions (2-2). He combined with Nate Weeldreye, Rylee Daugherty and Tyler Minton to scatter five hits.
Chris Sinclair doubled for Auburn Mountainview.
Earlier in the week, Auburn Riverside won a pair from the Lions in North Puget Sound League play.
On Thursday, the Ravens scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to pull out a 4-2 win on the road. Garrett Miller drove in two runs for Auburn Riverside.
Bryce McCall, the first of three relievers, got the win. Liam Conner started and allowed two hits and a run in 4 1/3 innings of work.
Michael Kramer took the loss. Alex McBee drove in a run for the Lions.
At Auburn Riverside on Wednesday, the Ravens prevailed 6-3 behind Logan Moore’s home run and two RBIs. Kenny Miller, Garrett Miller and Cade Stober each drove in a run.
Dylan Ostler went the distance, allowing five hits and three walks, striking out five in a 93-pitch outing.
Buchanan took the loss.
Sinclair and Nate Weeldreyer drove in runs for the Lions.
