Three Auburn Riverside girls make Nisqually All-Conference squad | Girls lacrosse

Auburn Riverside's Kari Barber, Madison Lancaster and Payton Dunne were all selected by the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (WSLA) to the Nisqually All-Conference squad. The selection is the third for Barber, a junior attacker who led the Ravens with 34 goals and 13 assists.

Lancaster, a senior midfielder, was also was nominated for the third time and finished the season with 31 goals and two assists.

Dunne’s nomination is the second for the senior defender.

Auburn Riverside finished its inaugural season with a 7-5-1 record, qualifying for the state tournament where they were defeated 14-1 by Roosevelt in the first round May 8.

The WSLA nominated sixty players from 33 high schools from the South Sound, Seattle, Eastside, West Sound and North Sound regions.

The list included one four-year honoree Sandi Roscelli, a senior midfielder from Emerald Ridge High School playing for the Puyallup program.

For the second consecutive year the South Sound tops all regions in the state with 18 All-Conference honorees. Among them are Bellarmine Prep with five selections, Stadium High School with four, Auburn Riverside and Emerald Ridge each with three and Curtis, Kennedy Catholic and Peninsula all with one each.

The All-Conference selections are made by coaches from each of the varsity girls teams in Washington state.
