The Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce is taking applications for openings on its board of directors.

For those interested in running for a seat on the 2017-2020 board, please submit an application before Friday, May 19 at 3 p.m.

Board nominees must know:

1. Three meeting misses for the entire year allowed.

2. Board members are expected to financially support the chamber for fundraisers and promotions.

3. Must attend chamber functions and support the chamber mission, vision and the staff.

4. Attend the mandatory strategic planning retreat (all day); date and place to be announced.
