Check the facts

In response to Dennis Doucette’s letter regarding racism:

First of all, conservatives supporting immigration laws as they exist demonstrates the fake news problems in this country. We are not Germany or any nation, but the USA. Our immigration laws are and have been adhered to.

For your information, to immigrate to the U.S. takes 18-24 months on average. You apply and are vetted first by the UN. Only a small percentage make it through that, about 10 percent. Then the U.S. vets them through the FBI, CIA, TSA, and several other agencies. So the immigrants are thoroughly vetted. Your statements to the contrary are racist as per your stated definition.

Your candidate, sir, won the election with the help of the Russians. Again, a fact.

I have never called you or anyone else a racist unless they have shown themselves to be.

As for protests, you bet I will protest when I feel things are unfair. It is my right, and I do so peacefully. If you don’t like it, then I say stop whining and squealing, like you accuse others of doing.

But above all, I urge you to get the facts before you go whining, squealing and blaming me.
