The state Legislature is considering expansion of gun-free zones and many other pointless, nuisance restrictions on people who do not commit crimes.

Why do they not cut to the chase? Establishing crime-free zones would be infinitely more effective. I believe they would become very popular with the citizens growing weary of maintaining their constant vigils.
