Auburn Community Jr. Players present ‘Mary Poppins Jr.’

Musical premieres Friday, July 12 at the Auburn Ave Theater

Practically perfect in every way, the cast of Auburn Community Jr. Players presents “Mary Poppins, Jr.,” a Broadway musical, for four performances this weekend.

Show times are 7 p.m. Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13, with 2 o’clock matinees on Saturday and Sunday at the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before their new nanny, Mary Poppins arrives. She takes the children on magical and memorable adventures, and even teaches the grownups a lesson or two.

Tickets are $10.

Order online, or call Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation at 253-931-3043, or purchase them in person at the Auburn Community & Event Center, 910 Ninth St. SE. Tickets also will be available at the theater’s box office one hour prior to each performance.
