The cast at Heavier Than Air Family Theatre Company present the Disney classic, “Beauty And The Beast,” for six performances in late March and early April.

This “tale as old as time” has become a modern classic, brimming with award-winning music, charming costumes, colorful sets and enchanting special effects that bring those beloved Disney characters to life.

Disney’s “Beauty And The Beast” opens Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Building, on the main campus of Green River College, 12401 SE 320th St., Auburn, and runs through Saturday, April 7.

Show times are 7 p.m. March 30, 31, April 6, 7, with 2 o’clock matinees on March 31 and April 7.

As with every great musical, the moral of the story can be summed up in a single word. The word for this production? Transformation. The cast delivers a delightful journey featuring misfits who learn to appreciate one another from the inside out. With both wit and humor, hearts are changed and love ultimately wins in the end.

Heavier Than Air Family Theatre Company is in its 45th year of serving up solid family entertainment. They also offer a summer camp for the youngest community members interested in a live theatre experience.

Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door.
