Spring AveKids Theater Camp available; register online

Spring AveKids Theater Camp features Roald Dahl’s “James and the Giant Peach Jr.”

Youth participants in the three-week theater program will learn voice, choreography, acting, set design, costuming and more. The program will culminate with a full-scale production at the end of the program.

The musical, under the direction of Angelica Duncan, is set for the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

Auditions for youth, ages 7-15, are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1 at the Auburn Ave.

Program times:

Monday, April 3-Friday, April 7: 5:30-8 p.m.

Monday, April 10-Friday, April 14: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Monday, April 17-Friday, April 21: 5:30-8 p.m.

The fee is $290 for the Auburn resident Discount. The regular fee is $362.

The program also includes performances at 7 p.m. April 21; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 22; and 2 p.m. April 23.
