Auburn Police blotter | Jan. 13

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Jan. 3 and 9:

Jan. 3

Animal problem: 10:10 a.m., 3400 block of Auburn Way South. A good Samaritan transported a sick, stray dog to the Sumner Veterinary Hospital, where staff euthanized it because of its poor condition.

Trespassing: 11:10 a.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. For out-of-line, objectionable shenanigans undisclosed, the Regal Movie Theater and its parking lot are now off limits to a certain trespassed dude.

Jan. 4

Theft: 10:30 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Somebody at the Muckleshoot Casino purloined a woman’s cellphone.

Prowl: 8:40 a.m., 100 block of 10th Street Northeast. Someone broke the driver’s window out of a man’s vehicle to prowl it

Animal problem: 4:30 p.m., 2700 Riverwalk Drive SE. Owing to the severity of its injuries, a Boston Terrier that had been hit by a car was later euthanized at Sumner Veterinary Hospital. The dog was without identification.

Jan. 6

Theft: 1:07 p.m., 1400 block of 30th Street Southeast. Somebody stole the money orders a tenant had purchased to pay his rent.

Jan. 8

Purse theft: 11:12 a.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. A thief snatched a woman’s purse at Walmart.

Vandalism: 2:31 p.m., 12100 block of Southeast 314th Place. A person or persons unknown slashed the tires on two vehicles and egged them and the home in front of which they were parked.

Jan. 9

Marijuana: 10:47 a.m., 401 W. Main St. West Auburn High School has suspended a student for having marijuana on his person, and he will be charged with being in possession.
