The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 255 calls for service between Dec. 17 and 23, among them the following:

Dec. 17

Aid call: 8:11 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics treated a man who was complaining of cardiac chest pain, and medics transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Dec. 18

Motor vehicle accident: 6:46 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a two-vehicle accident on Auburn Way North assessed a young woman who was complaining of head pain and transported her to MAMC for further treatment.

Dec. 19

Aid call: 8:10 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics treated a man for low blood sugar, and left him at home with his family.

Dec. 20

Aid call: 11:20 a.m., (Algona. Firefighters with King County Medics treated a man in a diabetic emergency, and left him in the care of a family member.

Dec. 21

Aid call: 2:06 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters assisted an elderly woman who was complaining of high blood pressure, and her family transported her to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Dec. 22

Aid call: 1:09 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated a middle-aged woman who was feeling lightheaded, determined she had a very rapid heart rate, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Dec. 23

Aid call: 10:22 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped a senior citizen who was complaining of injuries from a fall, and transported him to MAMC for further treatment.
