He was born March 11, 1931 in Covington, Oklahoma

to James Elmer and Eva Belle Hileman.

He married Norma Lee Boepple on May 27, 1951. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, 2 children: Ann Stoker and Jay Hileman, and 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
