1922 – 2017

Glenda also known as “Little Grama” or “Auntie” by some, passed away peacefully Friday, May 5, 2017 in Auburn,WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Simon Mamaril and her eldest daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Cole and leaves behind 3 children, Lorena Swann (Ernie), Samuel Mamaril, and James Mamaril, (Doris).

She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren and loved all of them without fail. Through the years she also helped to raise many others from her extended family.

She was born in Protection, Kansas to Oscar Park and Ethel Dial where she grew up until moving to Sacramento, California where she met her husband Simon. They were eventually married in Montana then moved around until settling in Washington where they lived and worked the rest of their days.

A private family memorial will be held at the family home on May 15th and another memorial for all friends and family is being planned for a later date in June.
