Shirley A. (Briggs) Movsesian, 86, of Sandwich, MA, passed away on December 25, 2017 following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Snoqualmie to the late Georgina and Harvey Briggs. Shirley graduated from Auburn High School and later worked at Boeing, where she met her husband, Ed Movsesian, who passed in 2009. She will be remembered for her quick wit, kind heart, and her love of children and pets.

Shirley is survived by her five children: Janis, Edward, Sherry, Sue and David; her sister, Lorraine Libadia, and four brothers: Richard Briggs, David Mendoza, Fred Mendoza, and Phillip Mendoza; six grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Michael, Cory, Ryan, and Jason, her beloved great-granddaughter, Dahlia, and loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held in August in Seattle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Miami, FL 33134.
