The 2017 Legislative Session promises to be one of the most challenging in decades. The reason? Finding a way to fully fund public education.

State policymakers must come up with billions of dollars in more funding to comply with the State Supreme Court’s decision in McCleary v. State, which mandated a significant boost in K-12 school funding.

The new session begins Monday, Jan. 9.
