Once again, I would like to have my voice heard regarding the “high cost of water” in Auburn.

Has it not gotten totally out of hand?

I have written numerous letters and e-mailed our mayor numerous times to no avail. By that I mean, there has been no solution to the amount we’re all being charged. I feel that living in Washington where the water is plentiful, we’re really being gouged. However, the real culprit is the “extra” or “added on” charges on each and every billing every month.

Frankly, I want to know what our money is really being used for because it can’t all be for maintenance. Is anyone else out there mad as I am about this? Did the cost to tear down Big Daddy’s come out of the utility money? And, why did the City really need that property?

What other unnecessary things is our money being spent on?

Something is fishy in Denmark, folks, oops, I mean Auburn.
