Auburn’s Hanbey to play football at George Fox University

Auburn’s Logan Hanbey recently signed a scholarship to attend George Fox University in Newberg, Ore., and play football for the Bruins this fall.

Hanbey graduated from Rainier Christian High School in Covington with a 4.3 GPA. He was class valedictorian.

Hanbey was chosen Most Valuable Player on his football team and Defensive Player of the Year on his basketball team.

Hanbey, son of Glenn and Shari Hanbey of Auburn, plans to study mechanical engineering and play wide receiver and tight end for the Bruins.
