Lions erupt, rock Ravens in showdown | NPSL fastpitch

Auburn Mountainview erupted for 10 runs in the last four innings to pull away from Auburn Riverside, 13-4, in a 4A North Puget Sound League Olympic Division fastpitch game Monday night.

The Lions (6-0 in league, 11-0 overall) broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth to beat the Ravens (4-2, 6-3).

Lily Hope went 4-for-4, with a grand slam home run, five RBI and four runs scored. Emily Bartholomew had a home run, a double and drove in three runs, scoring twice, and Emily Martinez went 3-for-5 with an RBI.

In all, the Auburn Mountainview attack generated 16 hits.

Riley Miehl drove in two runs for the Ravens.
