Ravens rock Trojans, Lions devour Raiders in NPSL Olympic softball

Auburn Riverside scored early and often, building a 12-1 lead after 2½ innings and cruising to a 13-3, five-inning victory over Auburn in a North Puget Sound League Olympic Division softball game Thursday night.

Autumn Lee and Karly Tiedeman each doubled and drove in three runs for the Ravens (3-0 division, 6-0). Rebecca Spear had a pair of RBIs, and Brooke Dye powered two doubles and drove in another run for Auburn Riverside.

Lee went the distance for the Ravens, striking out five.

Charity Sevaaetasi homered twice and drove in three runs. She had two of Auburn’s three hits in the game.

The loss snapped the Trojans’ six-game winning streak.

Elsewhere

Emily Bartholomew tripled, doubled and drove in four runs as Auburn Mountainview thumped Jefferson 20-11 in NPSL Olympic play Thursday on Lea Hill.

The Lions (3-0, 6-2) exploded for 14 runs in the second inning, with Purla Duran, Emma Podliska, Megan Perius, Caitlyn Rhoades, Kayla Fox and Azaria Johnson each driving in a run during the frame.

Auburn Mountainview unleashed 21 hits.

Rhoades tripled, doubled and drove in three runs. She also allowed six hits and three runs while striking out six batters in five innings of work to earn the win.

Duran also had a triple and Johnson smashed a home run. Perius drove in three runs.
