‘Ancient Lake’

The oil pastel works of Des Moines artist Daniel Wend express great passions for nature and life. Wend’s work now is on display at Auburn City Hall, 25 W. Main St. The gallery is open during the week at regular business hours. A public is invited to meet the artist during a reception Wednesday, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at City Hall.
