Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service between Nov. 24 and Nov. 22.
NOV. 24
Burglary: Overnight, 125 E. Main St. The owner of Mercantile Antiques and Collectibles reported that somebody entered his store and stole his safe with $650 in cash inside.
Burglary: 11:48 a.m.,
500 block of A Street Southeast. A man reported that somebody entered his storage building and swiped two large bags of paperwork containing his banking account information.
Trespassing: 8:03 p.m., 221 Auburn Way N. Lover’s Package reported that a man was making such a pain of himself inside the store that they wanted him to leave and not come back.
Cannabis in the Casino: 3:23 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a person identified only as belonging to the male gender, no age given, for smoking a cigarette chock full of with marijuana while playing Keno at the Muckleshoot Casino.
NOV. 23
Assault: 6:34 a.m., 25 W. Main St. Two males incarcerated at the Auburn Jail had an argument. The older male assaulted the younger male first by punching him on the face as the younger male was lying in his bunk. The older male then grabbed a wet mop and hit the younger male with the mop.
Bad manners: 12:10 p.m.. 2802 Auburn Way S. A person, gender not given, was told to leave a location after he relieved himself on the building.
Robbery: 8:40 p.m., 1300 block of Auburn Way North. Two males were arrested for robbery after stealing a purse off a woman’s shoulder as she loaded groceries into her car. Citizens followed the suspects until police arrived. Police arrested two persons and recovered the property.
NOV. 22
Controlled substance: 2:49 p.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. An Albertsons employee found a baggie of marijuana in an aisle of the store. The owner is unknown. The marijuana was placed into evidence for destruction.
Assault: 3:06 a.m., 120 block of 2nd Street Southeast. There was a fight outside of the Spunky Monkey involving several individuals.
