Auburn ArtRageous seeks artists for festival

Auburn’s ArtRageous – the Auburn Arts Commission 25th anniversary festival – is seeking participating artists for its July 25 show.
The one-day festival, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Les Gove Park, will offer opportunities for attendees of all ages to learn and experience a wide variety of art mediums, techniques and terminology through both observing and participating.
A variety of diverse and interactive art projects for attendees of all ages are sought. Artists are compensated for their time and materials based on the budget submitted as part of the application. Suggested budgets for organizing and leading a project range between $100 and $400.
Examples of interactive projects and demonstrations encouraged to apply includes plein air painting, printmaking, pottery, woodworking, jewelry, textiles, and culturally specific art forms.
