Toastmasters plan winter social open house

Kent Evening Toastmasters will host an open house and inspirational speech and evaluation contest on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Arbor Village Retirement Center, 24121 – 116th Ave. SE, Kent.

The public is invited and welcome to attend the special meeting, which will be held from 7-8:30 p.m.

The open house will kick off another year of club and community activities designed to increase public awareness of the benefits of Toastmasters International and the Kent Evening Toastmasters Club.

“We believe that the community will benefit from seeing how our club’s communication and leadership development program inspires confidence and offers steps to achieve personal goals, professional growth and success,” said club president Robel Alemu. “Members are always interested in sharing with others the effectiveness of the Toastmasters program.”
