Theater company to hold auditions for ‘Annie’
The Heavier Than Air Family Theater Company, a resident community theater group sponsored by Green River Community College, will be holding open auditions for its upcoming Christmas production of the beloved musical “Annie”.
Needed are actors and actresses aged 16 and up. The children’s roles will be cast from invited summer camp participants.
Auditions will be held in Green River Community College’s Performing Arts Building on Tuesday and Thursday, Sept. 21 and Sept. 23 from 7-9 p.m. The building is located on campus, 12401 SE 320th St., Auburn.
The Tuesday audition will consist of learning a song and short dance with some informal readings from the script and Thursday will be a more formal standup-type audition with selected readings. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend both days.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 30. Performances are slated for Dec. 10-19.
