Auburn Symphony Orchestra presents ‘Magnificent Marriage of Piano and Winds’

The Auburn Symphony Chamber Series continues Sunday, Jan. 22 with “A Magnificent Marriage of Piano and Winds,” featuring two of the repertoires greatest masterpieces for piano and woodwinds: Poulenc’s sextet for wind quintet and piano and Mozart’s quintet for piano and winds.

The concert includes the talents of Christina Seimens (piano); Laura Werner (flute); Jenniffer Nelson, (clarinet); Ove Hanson (oboe); Rodger Burnett (horn); and Mona Butler (bassoon).

The fully professional Auburn Symphony has become one of the most acclaimed orchestras in the Pacific Northwest. Each year, the orchestra performs three symphony programs and three chamber ensemble concerts for classical music lovers from throughout King and Pierce Counties and beyond.
