‘Energized’ Trout is the choice for City Council

I would like to say a few word about my friend and neighbor, Yolanda Trout, who is running for Auburn City Council, Position 4.
Yolanda and I are co-captains of our neighborhood Block Watch. I’ve been so impressed with how Yolanda just takes the bull by the horns and gets things done. Whether it’s a flooded street, neighborhood crime, park safety, or a drug house, Yolanda has effectively worked with the city to solve the problem.
Yolanda has owned a small business, as have several of her siblings, so she will work well with our business community. She is currently working on the future of our fair city, as a member of Auburn’s Planning Commission.
Several years ago, tragically, Yolanda’s brother was killed by a drunken driver. She went to Olympia and worked tirelessly with legislators and transportation people to make safety improvements on the highway on which her brother was killed. State funds were tight and everyone told her it couldn’t be done. But that didn’t stop her, and she got the job done.
Yolanda is one of the most energized people I know. Every time I hear of all she is doing, it wears me out. She gets things done. And for that very reason, I encourage you to support Yolanda.
