Auburn earned its third win of the season Friday with a 34-14 South Puget Sound League North 4A win over Tahoma at Auburn Memorial Stadium.

The Trojans (3-1 league, 3-1 overall) ran for 373 yards with sophomore halfback Ercle Terrell notching 149 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown.

Auburn rolled out to a 21-0 first-half win, with William Jefferies, Brier Atkinson and Patrick O’DellĀ  producing rushing touchdowns.

In the second half, the Trojans added 13 points, with Atkinson and Terrell rushing for TDs.

Tahoma’s (1-2, 2-2) two scores, rushing touchdowns by Jerome Woods, came in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter.

The Trojans piled up 403 yards of total offense, while holding the Bears to just 200.

Auburn plays Kentlake at 7 p.m. Thursday at French Field in Kent.

ALSO: Auburn Mountainview fell 44-21 to Battle Ground in nonleague action Friday. Lions sophomore quarterback Gresch Jensen finished the game with 19-of-40 passing for 263 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions and senior receiver Joey Cassano caught 11 passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns. Auburn Mountainview (1-3 overall) begins South Puget Sound League 3A play at 7 p.m. Friday when it hosts Enumclaw (2-2).
