Lechak named US Youth Soccer Competitive Coach of the Year regional winner

Auburn’s Zahra Lechak was chosen 2013 US Youth Soccer Competitive Coach of the Year award for the Region IV girls, it was announced Friday at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala in Philadelphia.

Lechak has led several teams at DOS FC and Seattle United to US Youth Soccer Washington State Cup quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.

A talented player at UConn, Lechak has a USSF “A” License and has worked on the US Youth Soccer ODP Region IV staff, as well as with the Seattle Sounders.
