Auburn Mountainview’s Gavin Robertson selected to AP all-state defensive first team | Prep football

Auburn Mountainview’s Gavin Robertson was honored with a first-team defensive selection to the 2014 Associated Press All-Washington 3A football team.

Robertson, a 6 foot, 2 inch, 190-pound junior terrorized the South Puget Sound League 3A from his defensive backfield position.

Robertson finished the 2014 campaign for the Lions with 99 total tackels in 11 games, including 3.5 for a loss. He also notched two interceptions for Auburn Mountainview.

Robertson, also a standout offensively as a wide reciever, helped lead the Lions to a 9-2 overall record and the team’s first postseason win. The team was 6-1 in the SPSL 3A, second after Peninsula.
