Host Auburn Mountainview boys and girls track and field teams easily defeated Auburn and Auburn Riverside on Thursday in the annual all-city meet.

The Lion boys defeated the Trojans 93-52 and swept past the Ravens 105-39. The Auburn boys beat Auburn Riverside 88-54.

In the girls competition, Auburn Mountainview defeated Auburn Riverside 111-41 and Auburn 110-38, with the Ravens downing the Trojans 85-53.

Highlights for the Lion boys included Ki’Jan Wiesinger’s first-place finish in the 400 meters with a 53.23-second time and Christian Rotter winning the 1,600 (4:32.35) and the 3,200 (10:02.78).

Auburn Mountainview dominated the hurdles with Justen Hardaway winning the 110 (16.50) and Jake Weathers grabbing first in the 300 (41.96).

Trevor Jensen doubled up for the Lions in the shot put with a first-place toss of 45 feet, 1.75 inches, and the discus with a first-place throw of 150-7.

Auburn Mountainview’s Gavin Robertson was first in the triple jump with a leap of 41-5.5 and Michael Causally was first in the long jump with leap of 20.

Keegan Provo captured the pole vault with a 13-0.

For Auburn, junior Cole Eberly was first in the 100 (11.28) and 200 (23.16) and senior Peyton Polly won the javelin with a throw of 132-11.

Avery Wade won the high jump, climbing 6-2.

In the girls competition, Auburn Mountainview’s Noemi Maya-Mendoza was first in the 200 with a 27.55, with teammate Kylie Lewis captured the 800 (2:36.10).

Samantha Goedde topped the 1,600 field with a 5:57.81 and Yadira Ventura won the 3,200 with a 12:52.55.

Lion hurler Heaven Palaita was first in the shot put (32-3) and the discus (109-4) and teammate Nicole Gaarder was first in the javelin (78-10).

Auburn Mountainview’s Tiffany Pott won the high jump with a 5-2.

Auburn Riverside’s Luba Migdal took the pole vault with an 8-0 and senior Brittni Williams finished first in the long jump (16-6.25) and triple jump (35-8.75).

Freshman Aulan Mpouli was first for the Ravens in the 100 with a 13.23.

Auburn’s Rebecca Thareek was first in the 100 and 300 hurdles with times of 16.43 and 46.37, respectively.

Auburn Mountainview swept the relays, winning the 400 with a 51.94, the 800 with a 1:49.56 and the 1,600 with a 4:29.92.

Next up for Auburn Riverside is the Arnie Young Invitational at Renton Stadium on Saturday and a league dual meet at Sumner next Thursday.

Auburn Mountainview hosts Bonney Lake in South Puget Sound League 3A action next Thursday and Auburn hosts a tri-meet with Enumclaw and Lakes next Thursday.
