Police looking for hit-and-run driver

Auburn Police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run incident in south Auburn early Sunday morning.
The driver struck a 24-year-old man crossing Auburn Way South in the 2100 block – from the Muckleshoot Bingo Hall toward the Muckleshoot Casino – before fleeing in his vehicle. The victim was left lying in the roadway, critically injured.
Another vehicle struck the man and left the scene without stopping, police said. Other vehicles swerved to avoid the man in the roadway, causing a vehicle accident.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m.
Investigators said the first vehicle that struck the man is a green 2000 Buick Lesabre, license plate APS8202. The vehicle may have damage to the front passenger side and mirror.
Police are urging the driver who struck the man to turn himself or herself in for questioning.
