Auburn Police responded to the following calls, among many others, between Feb. 16 and 20:
Feb. 16
Stolen property: 11 a.m., 1201 Auburn Way S. Police recovered stolen property dating to Feb. 1 from an Auburn pawn shop.
Hit and run: 12:46 p.m., 501 15th St. NE. A man called police to report that a big truck had struck his vehicle in the drive-thru of Taco Bell then hit the road.
Obstructing justice: 5:22 p.m., 3700 Auburn Way N. A police K-9 stopped a man who had seven warrants out for his arrest.
Warrant arrest: 11:07 p.m., 3000 Auburn Way N. Police stopped a man who had neglected to strap on his bike helmet, discovered he was a wanted dude and gave him accommodations at the SCORE jail.
Feb. 17
Trespassing: 2:44 p.m., A Street Southeast and 41st Street Southeast. White River Junction withdrew its welcome mat from two mischief makers, and out those two bad boys went into a rainy, Northwest afternoon.
Assault with a knife: 7 p.m., 1400 block of D Street Northeast. Police arrested a man for assaulting someone with a knife.
Feb. 20
Theft of vehicle: Overnight, 2820 B St NW; Ste. 109. A man reported the theft of two commercial trucks
Forgery: 1:08 p.m., 504 Auburn Way N. Somebody fobbed off a counterfeit $50 bill onto the Starting Gate Restaurant.
Shoplifting: 5:15 p.m., 1811 Howard Road SE. Police busted a man for swiping items from a cellphone retail store.
Assault with a firearm: 9:36 p.m., 11000 block of Southeasts 316th Place. Police arrested a man for first-degree assault domestic violence.
Vandalism: 9:45 p.m., 1420 30th St. SE. Unknowns applied graffiti to the outside of an apartment complex.
