Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between March 24 and 28:

March 24

Burgling Freddies: 7:30 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. A Police busted a man for burglary and organized retail theft at Fred Meyers.

March 25

Assault with aggravating injury: 3:04 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Drive SW. Police busted three women for third- and fourth-degree assault near The Outlet Collection mall.

March 26

Theft: 1:30 p.m., 400 block of 37th Street Southeast. Somebody stole tools of undisclosed make and value from the side of a house.

March 27

Drugs and weapons offense: 7:35 a.m., 500 4th St. NE. When an officer roused a man he’d found asleep near Veterans Memorial Park, he discovered near the man a large, black, M48 spear, and on him a 6-inch, fixed blade, Mossy Oak knife, a 4½-inch, fixed blade, “K” brand throwing knife and drug paraphernalia. The officer arrested the man and transported him to the SCORE jail.

Vandalism: Overnight, 1819 C Place SE. A male broke a tenant’s apartment door lock.

Theft: 4:30 p.m., 1433 8th St. NE. Somebody stole a golf cart from the Neely Station Apartments

Trespassing: 8:25 p.m.,1306 Harvey Road NE. Police trespassed a man caught sleeping on the property of the Auburn Valley Animal Clinic and parking lot.

March 28

Commercial burglary: 2:21 a.m., 401 8th St. SW. Two males were seen bolting from a closed office at the Best Western Peppertree Inn.

Possession of a stolen vehicle: 11:15 a.m., 600 E. Main St. Police arrested three guys caught fleeing from a stolen vehicle. Inside the vehicle, police recovered a stolen gun.
