Auburn Police blotter | April 28

Auburn Police Officers responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between April 17 and 24:

April 17

Theft: 12:30 p.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. Some thief stole two propane heaters from a woman’s vehicle.

Theft: 1:55 p.m., 1519 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole a woman’s backpack.

Shoplifting: 3:26 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A man grabbed some wallets and ran out of The Outlet Collection mall. A witness got his license number.

Assault with a knife: 5:40 p.m., 30000 block of 121st Place Northeast. Police arrested a man who’d knifed his brother.

Trespassing: 7 p.m., 1102 Auburn Way S. Police busted three very naughty teenage boys who had refused to leave the Auburn Library property.

April 19

Burglary: 6:50 a.m., 1439 West Valley Highway N. Somebody stole tools of undisclosed value and quantity from somebody else.

April 22

Shoplifting: 12 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. From an unnamed yet high-end store at The Outlet Collection, a thief skedaddled with, well, an unnamed something of presumed value and zipped off into the afternoon in some sort of vehicle.

April 23

Theft: 7:30 p.m., 2901 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole a man’s prescribed methadone.

Weapons offense: 9:58 p.m., 100 block of 21st Street Southeast. A shooting having occurred, police busted a man for unlawful possession of a firearm and transported him to the SCORE Jail. Police did not disclose whether anybody was injured.

April 24

Assault with firearm: 6:16 p.m., 400 Auburn Way N. Somebody, gender unspecified, pulled out a gun and threatened a man.
