Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between May 25 and:

May 24

Theft from vehicle: 8:37 a.m., 1102 Auburn Way S. Three weeks prior, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered a parked vehicle and stole a backpack and two computers.

Possession of pot: 1:55 p.m., 711 E. Main St. The powers that be at Auburn High School suspended a student for being in possession of pot, and the powers that be at the City of Auburn intend to charge said person with having said substance.

Vandalism: 3:24 p.m., 340 E. Main St. Somebody unknown committed an undisclosed act of malicious mischief.

Theft: 2:55 p.m., 700 block of M Street Northeast. Somebody stole headphones from a backpack.

May 25

Shoplifting: 9:41 a.m., 1221 Auburn Way N. Somebody shoplifted clothing from Big 5 Sporting Goods.

Vandalism: 11:27 a.m., 11227 SE. 301st Way. A property management group reported damage to its fencing.

Theft: 10:45 a.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. From Walmart, somebody stole a bag containing prescribed narcotics.

Weapons offense: 2 p.m., 1015 24th St. NE. Authorities at Cascade Middle School caught a couple of students in possession of knives.

Theft: 9:08 a.m., 500 block of 1st Avenue South. Somebody stole someone else’s go-kart.
