Federal Way and Auburn Boys and Girls Club breakfast raises a record-breaking $71,470

Breakfast for Kids, an annual fundraiser for the Federal Way and Auburn branch of the King County Boys and Girls Club, raised a record-breaking $71,470.

The recent breakfast at Emerald Downs raised funds to support Boys and Girls Club services for South King County youth.

Keynote speaker was University of Washington Athletic Director Jen Cohen.

King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer, the honorary chair, presented Ron Crockett, founder of Emerald Downs, with an official recognition signed by von Reichbauer and the mayors of South King County cities for a lifetime of achievement and philanthropy.
