Despite the steady rain, Auburn and Auburn Mountainview high school students joined community partners for the second annual Pink Out tailgate party to beat breast cancer last Friday.

The event prior to the rivalry football game in the parking lot across Auburn Memorial Stadium raised money for the American Cancer Society in recognition of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

There were booths and activities before the game. Students worked throughout the evening asking for donations.
