Between Dec. 3 and 9, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 215 calls for service, among them the following:
Dec. 3
Aid call: 7:15 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters treated a man in a possible seizure, and a private ambulance transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).
Dec. 4
Aid call: 1:34 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a woman with a headache and determined that she would continue care with her primary care physician at a later date.
Dec. 5
Aid call: 6:41 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters stabilized a young man who had gotten dizzy and passed out, and he refused transport for further evaluation.
Dec. 6
Aid call: 7:35 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters treated a senior citizen who was struggling to catch her breath, and her husband drove her to her doctor’s appointment.
Dec. 7
Aid call: 9:54 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters treated a young man for stroke symptoms, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.
Dec. 8
Aid call: 11:50 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters dispatched to the sounds of a man calling for help found a senior citizen who had fallen and needed help getting up again. Firefighters evaluated the man and helped him to his feet. He asked to stay at home.
Dec. 9
Aid call: 5:45 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters evaluated an older fellow who was suffering from tremors, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.
