Flores becomes Lions’ all-time leading scorer

The Auburn Mountainview girls basketball team and coaches celebrate after Taylor Flores became the program’s all-time leading scorer.

Flores had 26 points – to go along with six rebounds and four steals – in the Lions’ 53-51 loss to Auburn Riverside in a North Puget Sound League Olympic Division game on Saturday.

Flores, a 5-foot-6 senior, has 1,320 career points, surpassing Caitlin Carr’s previous record of 1,297 points.
