Free haircuts for kids in Auburn

A pair of local salons are teaming up again this year to offer free haircuts for Auburn School District students.

This year’s event runs 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 12 at Sunset Park, 1201 69th St. SE, Auburn.

Hosted by Bella Red Salon and Third Dimension Salon, the event will include food for purchase from Stacks Burgers food truck as well an ice cream truck. There will also be a bouncy house available for kids.

Donations will be collected to benefit the Auburn Valley Humane Society. The wishlist includes canned food for dogs and cats as well as Costco giftcards, distilled water, pine pellets and hot dogs.
