Kentwood downed Auburn Mountainview 53-36 in the ShoWare Shootout, a high school basketball showcase, at the ShoWare Center late Saturday night.
In an earlier game, West Seattle turned back Auburn, 66-61.
In girls action, Jackson of Mill Creek defeated Auburn Mountainview 59-53 behind Sierra Anderson’s 25 points. Maddie Newell led the Lions (4-3) with 12 points.
