South King County Family Health & Safety Fair comes to the YMCA

The 12th annual South King County Family Health & Safety Fair – the kickoff of Binational Health Week – returns to Auburn.

The 12th annual South King County Family Health & Safety Fair – the kickoff of Binational Health Week – returns to Auburn.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Auburn Valley YMCA, 1620 Perimeter Road. It is free to the public.

There will be fun and entertainment as well as free health screenings, health and safety information and resources.

The purpose of the fair is to bring health and safety related resources to low-income families and individuals in South King County.

All services will be in English and Spanish.

The fair is a collaboration among Molina Healthcare of Washington; Department of Labor & Industries; Grace Community Church; King County Local Hazardous Waste Management Program; Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen; Public Health – Seattle & King County; YWCA; DSHS; and the Governor’s Interagency Council on Health Disparities.
