O’Connell awarded master’s from Harvard Kennedy School

Andrew O’Connell graduated June 4 from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University with a master in public policy degree.
O’Connell, son of Gerald and Rebecca O’Connell of Auburn, is a 2005 graduate of the University of Washington. He was awarded the Public Service Fellowship and the Presidential Management Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School.
“I take great pride in knowing that the graduating class of 2009 will embody and carry forth the Kennedy School mission of public service in its many forms,” said Harvard Kennedy School Dean David T. Ellwood. “They are the imaginative, skillful, and principled leaders the world needs at this crucial time.”
