Honoring a leader, mentor

A celebration of Bob Jones’ life is 7 p.m. Friday at the Auburn High School gymnasium, 711 E. Main St.
Jones, longtime, longtime athletic director and football coach at Auburn High School, died Sunday morning after a three-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 60 years old.
The public is welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Auburn Food Bank in his name.
