The Auburn Police Department responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between March 29 and April 3:
March 29
Theft of vehicle parts: 6:08 a.m., 707 Auburn Way N. A man tried to steal wheels from a vehicle.
Weapons offense: 4:19 p.m., 100 block of 3rd Avenue Southeast. Police busted a kid for possession of a prohibited weapon of undisclosed type.
March 30
Agency assist: 12:15 p.m., 711 E. Main St. Police booked an Auburn High School student – a King County Sheriff’s missing juvenile – on a youth-at-risk warrant.
Vandalism: 7:30 p.m., 216 Auburn Way S. An unidentified man smashed the front windows of the Trades Labor Corporation in Auburn.
April 1
Weapons offense: 1:53 p.m., 400 block of South 277th Street. Police arrested a man who should not have had a firearm, but did.
Theft: Overnight, 12110 SE 312th St. Somebody stole a barbecue smoker that didn’t belong to him or her.
April 3
Vandalism: 9:43 p.m., 1301 31st St. SE. A man took out his modern angst on a helpless door frame.
Vandalism: 8 a.m., 101 Frontage Road S. Somebody did destructive things, undisclosed, to a man’s Dumpster.
