The Auburn School District honors two outgoing school board members – Ray Vefik and Robyn Mulenga – for their service to the community this month.
Vefik is retiring after 21 years serving on the school board. The community is invited to an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 25 in the James P. Fugate Administration building to honor Vefik for his service and wish him well.
Mulenga has served four years as a school board member and did not seek reelection. She is leading in her bid for a position on the Auburn City Council.
Vefik and Mulenga will be honored during a break in the regularly scheduled board meeting on Nov. 25.
The community, families, students and staff are invited to attend the open house and the board meeting.
