Green River Community College to host barbershop quartet singing regional

Western Washington Barbershop Quartet Singing Competition comes to Green River Community College on March 18-19.

Performances will be staged at the Lindbloom Student Center, 12401 SE 320th S., Auburn. Quartet semifinals will run from 6-10 p.m. March 18.

On March 19, the chorus contest is scheduled for 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed in the evening quartet finals and Show of Champions from 7-10.

Cost is $10 for the Friday night and Saturday morning programs, $15 for the evening finals.

The choruses and quartets will be competing to qualify for the Northwest and international competitions.
