Mayor’s State of the City address is Feb. 25

Auburn Mayor Nancy Backus will deliver her annual State of the City address on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Muckleshoot Casino Events Center, 2402 Auburn Way S.

The doors open at 5 p.m. and there will be a reception with refreshments for attendees to enjoy and to connect with others.

Mayor’s address begins at 6 p.m.

At these events, Backus typically covers the gamut of city news, from a recounting of accomplishments, challenges, like the recent flooding, and other noteable events of the year just past, and then what the present year holds.
