Auburn grad Pollard shinning in college hoops

Auburn graduate and Vancouver Island University junior basketball player Sienna Pollard is leading the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association’s (CCAA) PacWest conference in scoring.

Pollard, a 6-foot-1 forward and 2012 Auburn High School graduate, is averaging 20 points per game, which is also the fifth highest women’s collegiate scoring average in Canada.

Pollard is also third in the PacWest conference in rebounding.

The Mariners are 7-6 and ranked No. 9 in the CCAA.
