Auburn Riverside ran its record to 4-0 with a 19-6 South Puget Sound League North 4A win against Kentlake on Thursday night at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
The Ravens (4-0 league, 4-0 overall) shot out to 13-0 lead in the first quarter with Joshua Turner returning a fumble for a touchdown and quarterback Kevin Thomson hooking up with Drew Wallen for a 8-yard TD pass.
Kicker Brandon Starks added two field goals – from 24 and 33 yards – in the second half to put the game away for Auburn Riverside.
Tino Wells’ 64-yard touchdown run came in the third quarter for Kentlake’s (0-3, 0-4)..
Cole Huckaby finished the game with 104 yards on 22 carries to lead the Ravens on the ground.
Thomson had 56 yards on 10 carries to go with his 13-of-20 passing for 148 yards and a touchdown.
Wallen caught seven passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Turner also had an interception in the contest.
Wells led the Falcons with 99 yards on the ground. As a team, Kentlake ran the ball 49 times for 236 yards.
Auburn Riverside plays Jefferson (2-1, 2-1) at 7 p.m. next Thursday at Federal Way Stadium.
